Translay ("we", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Translay application.

We do not store your AI conversations. Transmissions to DeepSeek use encrypted channels (HTTPS/TLS). Our agreement with DeepSeek requires that they protect your data with the same or equal level of protection and do not use it for training their models on your content.
Translay's OCR (Optical Character Recognition) runs entirely on your device. Your screenshots and images are never uploaded to any server.
To provide translations, we send OCR-recognized text (text only, no images) through encrypted channels to the translation service (DeepL). This text is not stored or used for other purposes.
When you use the AI follow-up feature, the app will explain what data is sent and to whom (DeepSeek), and will ask for your permission before sending any data. Only after you consent will translation-related text be sent through encrypted channels to DeepSeek. We do not store your conversations.
We only sync your usage counter via iCloud to manage free quotas. We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information.
All network transmissions use HTTPS/TLS encryption. We do not maintain a user database or store any translation content or personal information.
